The Methodist Church, Tickhill, Doncaster, South Yorkshire
Tickhill Methodist Church is in the centre of this thriving village; the church boasts very good facilities and there is always something going on! The old pipe organ, was sold to a builder in Germany and has now been rebuilt as a mobile instrument which is used in continuo work around the country.
The instrument has 37 speaking stops and tremulants to both Swell and Great. The Great and Swell organs are under separate expression. The medium oak console is at the front of the church on the right,and the speaker cabinets are mounted on the East wall above the console (the cabinets are specially designed to follow the curve of the ceiling).

The organist of the church wrote to us shortly after the installation and said..."I write to say how impressed are both members and friends with the new organ.........those of us who play regularly find it most satisfying and fulfilling and it certainly enhances the singing.......All of those who were around on installation were most impressed with the attention to detail as seen with yourself and Richard, and the fine tuning by Robert....my heartfelt thanks for supplying such a fine instrument..."
