The Wren Chapel, Royal Hospital, Chelsea, London

In October 2005 we completed the addition of three digital pedal stops to enhance the pipe organ in the Wren Chapel, Royal Hospital, Chelsea.
Full details of the pipe organ can be found Here

The computing techology, speaker systems and amplifiers are on the gallery to the left of the pipe organ case with cabling and switching to drawstops and pedal board neatly concealed.
The stops added are a 32' flue, 16' principal and a 32' Contra Bassoon (the link above to the NPOR website states this incorrectly as a 16' Contra Bassoon).

After the opening service in October 2005 we received an email from a spokesperson at the Royal Hospital who said...." Congratulations on a very successful and convincing job......All went extremely well this morning. The 16' metal blends well and the 32' Subbass is a triumph of subtlety....."

There is also a 3-manual Eminent Positive Organ at the Royal Hospital in the Roman Catholic Chapel. Click here to read more about this instrument
