St Clement's Church, Ashampstead, Berkshire

St Clement's Church is a beautiful and historic building set in the Berkshire countryside - an ancient tree root built into the North-West wall is reputed to be part of the tree, underwhich the Gospel was first preached on these shores.
The previous organ was a very early digital instrument from the 1980's and had reached the end of its useful life

The new Eminent organ (installed April 2008) has 32 speaking stops with two on each division capable of drawing alterable voices from the built-in library. The dark oak special panelled console is at the Eastern end of the Nave on the South side, and the main speaker system is mounted on the West end wall. The are further speakers in the Chancel mounted high and facing the altar and a set of console speakers. The three speaker systems can be used together, or in any combination via switches on the console. Both Swell and Great are under expression with independent swell pedals.
