The Eminent organ in Plymouth Cathedral is a 3 manual tabstop instrument with 52 speaking stops, full divisional and general pistons, alterable voicing and, as with all Eminent organs, voiced note-by-note for the Cathedral. The console is situated some 20 feet West of the casework wherein the speakers are housed and next to the stalls from which the choir sing. The low level design of the console ensures the organist has excellent views not only of the Nave, but also Chancel and choir members.
