The Alpha 200/27 is the smallest
instrument built by Eminent, designed for those who require a portable
instrument, perhaps for accompaniment of services, or a choir or music
group in locations where an organ is unlikely to be found. The design
and construction of the digital sound generation systems are to exactly
the same high standards of all other Eminent organs. The range of 23 speaking
stops is sufficient for the accompaniment of a wide range of church music,
and the two manuals enable the instrument to be used for serious organ
practice, particularly with the benefit of the built-in Library of 24
additional stops. As with all Eminent installations, the organ is fully
voiced on site to customer requirements, using Eminent's unique harmonic
voicing system. Speakers are built into the top of the case, with an enhanced
subbass built into the optional base unit.
